As a faith-based organization affiliated with the American Baptist Churches of Connecticut, our mission is to provide compassionate and affordable health care and housing to all seniors of all beliefs within our continuum of care.

1951Amasa and Edna Pierce donate Pierce House and their 29-acre homestead to the American Baptist Churches of Connecticut for use as a “Home for the Elderly Baptist, beginning as a humble home for five elderly Baptist women
1954Expansion adds 15 residences
1971Expansion adds 30 residences
1990Expansion adds 27 residences
1999The newly constructed Creamery Brook Village opens across the meadow, adding 83 new Independent and Assisted Living apartments on campus
20076 newly constructed, freestanding Cottages open to create another Independent Living lifestyle option on the Creamery Brook Village campus
2022$8MM total renovation of Pierce House and Pierce Memorial Health Center adds Memory Care to complete our full continuum of care, as well as provide updated enhancements to the lobby and all common areas
